REUSE
REPAIR
REIMAGINE
To create value from waste.
To mend whatโs worn.
To let the fabric live on.
The Fabric Folk is a social enterprise focused on textile reuse.
We give fabric a second chance.
From mending to making, we help Hertfordshire and London communities reuse, repair, and reimagine textiles that would otherwise go to waste.
We work with fashion, film and interior design industry to reduce their textile waste.
We sell affordable materials to local makers, teach local communities to reuse textiles and design waste out via upcycling commissions.
Weโre not in this for profit. Weโre a Community Interest Company, which means any money we make gets reinvested into our mission:
To create a future where
nothing gets wasted.

Have a Space to Share?
Do you have a commercial space in East Hertfordshire thatโs sitting empty โ even just for a few months?
The Fabric Folk is looking for a temporary home to run pop-up repair workshops and test our community model.
Weโre a growing social initiative focused on sustainability, repair, and circular living. A short-term let or underused space could help us bring real impact to the neighbourhood โ and turn unused square metres into community value.
If you have a shopfront, studio, or flexible space to offer, weโd love to hear from you.
