Mindful Morning: Botanical Boro
This spring we’re running a series of floral inspired sessions in St Albans & Hertford.
During these sashiko & boro slow stitching sessions we will be reusing floral prints by Liberty London and explore nature-inspired sashiko patterns.
What Sets Our Workshops Apart
01 / Beautiful, reclaimed materials
We work with carefully sourced surplus textiles — giving participants access to high-quality materials while demonstrating the value of reuse in a tangible way.
02 / Attentive, expert facilitation
Our workshops are guided with a calm, supportive approach.
No pressure, no perfection — just clear guidance that helps everyone feel confident and capable, regardless of experience.
03 / A shared, social experience
More than a workshop, these sessions create space for connection.
Teams slow down, make together and become part of a wider culture of repair, reuse and creativity.

What Folks Are Saying
“A lovely slow couple of hours learning about and doing sashiko. Really enjoyed it. Marina was super helpful and would recommend it - so much so that have signed up to her "visible mending" class too.”
— Kay from St Albans
“A mindful session being creative, learning a new skill and helping to preserve much loved knitwear. Marina is an excellent teacher with lots of inspiration and patience.”
— Karen from St Albans“I had had a busy few weeks and Marina's calm, methodical approach smoothed out all the stresses. Loved the decorations I made, and even more loved the mediative feel of the time there.”
